Working Principle

The tester uses a cylindrical head to deliver controlled water volume to a flat sample. After a set time, the absorbed water mass is measured and divided by the test area to compute absorption rate (g/m²).

Prüfprinzip

Sample Prep: Cut a 125mm diameter sample.

Water Application: Place the head on the sample, releasing water for 60/120 seconds.

Result Calculation: Weigh the absorbed water and compute:

Absorption Rate = Absorbed Water (g) / Test Area (m²)
